RAKAN MUDA STAR SEARCH 2009.
Organized by Laya Music & Dance Theater and Kelab Rekreasi Selebrity funded by the Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia, and Rakan Muda Malaysia.
Laya Music & Dance Theater & Kelab Rekreasi Selebrity is extending its invitations to all Youths in Malaysia to participate in this grand Talent Search!
PRIZES
1st Prize - RM3000 + Hamper + Trophy
2nd Prize - RM1000 + Hamper + Trophy
3rd Prize - RM 500 + Hamper + Trophy
Best Performer - RM500 + Hamper + Trophy
Consolation Prizes for all finalists - Hamper + Voucher
Monthly Winners receive prizes and hampers
All participants receive a certificate of participation by Rakan Muda Malaysia.
DETAILS:
Venue : Dataran Remaja (Youth Square) Stadium Bukit Jalil
Time : 3.00pm to 4.00pm
Days : Every Saturdays starting March 14, 2009
Cost : RM10 for individual participants
RM30 for group of 3-5 participants
Entrance Criteria:
· OPEN TO ALL MALAYSIANS
· All talents with multiracial background are welcome to participate.(modern or cultural dance, singing, rapping, instruments, poetry, acting, miming, stand up comedy, magic show etc.)
· all participants must be within the age group of 15 to 25 yrs old.
· Provided 3 min ONLY to showcase talent.
Competition Format :
· 10 participant slots available every week (Book slot time NOW!)
· 2 winners are selected every week – 6 winners are selected at the end of 3 weeks
· These 6 participate in a monthly final held in the 4th week of the month
· 3 winners are selected at the end of every month – 12 winners are selected at the end of 3 months
· These 12 participate in a Quarter Final that is held at the end of each 4 month period - 5 winners are selected at the end of every Quarter Final - 10 winners are selected at the end of 2 Quarter Finals
· These 10 participate in the Semi Finals that take place in the 1st week of December 2009 – 6 winners are selected at the end of the Semi Finals
· These 6 participate in the Grand Finals that take place in mid-December 2009
